    The school year has come to a very busy, quick close. The last weeks have been full of final concerts, competitions, field day celebrations, and honors. These numerous activities represent a culmination of hard work demonstrated by both staff and students. This could not be possible without the continued support of our parents and community. I would like to thank you all for allowing us to be your educational institution of choice.
    As we close this year, I encourage parents to take the time to review your child's progress and make summer an opportunity to further his or her education. This can be done by providing trips to the local library and enjoying the world of free books. There are also many opportunities in Georgia for day-trips to the ocean or mountain areas. No matter how you plan your child's time away from school, please make sure that they are safe and busy. I wish for you all a wonderful summer. See you back August 2!
